Week 40 - 29th June

According to the Weatherman most of this week is going to be a hot one so the Green was watered Sunday night and after Monday's work some additional water was applied to help soak in the fertilizer. 

Star slitting was on the agenda today.

A cut, and even in the dry spell we managed to get a couple of box loads.

Finally a good dose of fertilizer.

Well Wednesday was a very hot day so the green will be watered at 10.00pm tonight.

Graham said we need to small spike the green, OK I said and then he put a lead weight on the front of the machine to make sure the spikes go in. It certainly done me in when using it.

Graham took the easier job of cutting the banks....

Tony's back on cutting the grass.

Friday is here and the weather is still very bright and hot so more watering tonight.

Just a grass cut for the Green today.

Still working behind the sheds laying paving stones.
