Week 27 - 30th March

Monday was a quiet day on the green but in a bid to try to remove some moss from around the edges they were scarified. Work continued though on the roof covering at the back of the work shed with the corrugated roofing starting to go up. "Sorry no pictures again!"

Wednesday and it's time for another grass cut and this was followed up by running the deep spiker over the Green.

Even the banks got themselves a cut and NO, that is not the same person who cut the Green!

As can be seen the corrugated roof covering at the back of the work shed is well underway.

and here's one of the workers working on the roof. We did let him down in the end....

No work on Friday as the driveway to the club was being resurfaced, so we couldn't get in, which also may affect next Monday and Tuesday! However, Graham Pinch managed to sneak in and apart from keeping the resurfacing crew kept up with liquid refreshments he has been dew brushing the Green and put a compound on the Green that helps break down the thatch in the grass...there's no getting a good man down is there!
