Week 33 - 11th May

Lots of activity going on on Monday with people from Tillingham and Southminster Bowls Club turning up to carry out the annual testing of the Green so only managed one photo showing the grass being cut. However I can assure you that the Green was groomed before the cut. Tony cut the grass banks. Graeme was working on the faulty sprinkler motor and Hazel was giving some of the fencing at the front of the club a coat of wood preserver.

Plenty of grass comes off so the box requires the occasional emptying.

Wednesday and the sun is shinning which brings on another busy day.

A bit of Star slitting to start with and guess who's supposed to be on the other end of this machine?

More Cutting!

The hedge was starting to look a little overgrown so time for trim.

The trouble with cutting the hedge is all the cuttings to clear up.

Do you remember the problem with the replacement pump not working? Well here's the answer, it was jammed up with large seed stones. 'Amazing'

Friday is here again but no time to play.....

Time to use a different spiking machine....
