Week 32 - 4th May

Not much work on the Spring Bank Holiday but the grass needed an early cut for the Spring Pairs Competition.

Wednesday was  a bit of a sunshine and rain day, but we pressed on.

Deep spiking was needed first.

Then came the cut!

The grass on the banks keeps growing.....

It was felt a bit of strimming was also needed.

There was a problem with the replacement pump for the sprinkler so the old one has been refurbished. Let's hope that works!

It's Friday and another busy day attending to the Green!

Finally Len's doing the cut and I believe the blades had been lowered a little?

The rest of the crew are having another go at the sprinkler pump! I can confirm that by the end of the day it was working OK.

Yes, that's Hazel again and this time rubbing down the eaves boarding at the front and if you look hard enough our Chairman Kevin is also helping...
