  • A year on the green
Week 46 - 10th August
When we arrived Monday the water tank was filling up so Graham must have watered the green. It certainly looked as though it had been.
I start Monday off with the small spiker.
It's amazing how much grass that comes off each time it's cut!
Got to keep the edges looking neat....
Wednesday and boss wants the deep spiker used and what a slow and noisy machine that it, but it does a good job.......
And now for the cut....
It rained quite a bit on Thursday and there was a little Friday morning but we still managed to work on the Green. Apart from the pictures some more molasses was put on the Fairy rings and there was some work going on in the shed putting up shelving.
All that rain produced plenty of worm casts so they had to be brushed away.
No spiking today just a cut.
