  • A year on the green
Week 25 - 16th March
I am afraid I missed another Monday but I am reliably informed that the Green team etc. were there slaving away......It would seem they put some fertilizer on the Green and started to give a fresh coat of wood preserver to the protective ditch boards.
Well this is the start of another job. A roof covering is to go up above this area and to start with the rubbish had to be cleared away.
I know it doesn't look like it but they are working on the new roof cover!
Len continues to paint the protective boards on the Green and Tony is removing the overgrown grass on the seat slabs.
A little bit of motorized strimming seems to be the order of the day.
It's Friday and it's back to painting the ditch boards.
This time we have two men digging a hole!
Just in case you are wondering what the hole is all about......here's a photo of the repositioned sprinkler.
Work continues on the new canopy at the back of the maintenance sheds.
Graeme's back on the angle iron again and this time his making a cross support for the new canopy.
Can you spot Hazel painting the wooden fence panels?????
