  • A year on the green
Week 31 - 27th April
Start of another week and there's no rest for the wicked!
We start with a Dew brush to help dry off the grass.
Following the Dew brush Star slitting is the order of the day.
And finally a cut making it all ready for bowling....
A slight trim around the edges always keeps it looking good.
Not forgetting the constantly growing bank grass that needs a cut.
The sprinkler pump was showing signs of wear so a replacement is being fitted.
Hazel's back at the cleaning again!
It was a bit of a cold day on Wednesday but that did not stop the works! By the way on Tuesday 28th April Graham gave the whole Green another going over with the Groomer...
Before the cut a going over with the small spiker was needed which was done by yours truly and no I have not gone home just taking the picture!
Of course the usual Wednesday cut was needed...
Still working on the replacement pump.
Finishing touches to the roofing by putting up some guttering.
The cold weather continued but at least it was dry... Graham still trying to get the sprinkler pump working!
