Week 37 - 8th June

It's the beginning of the week again and plenty to do but no grass cutting this Monday as it was especially cut Sunday morning to ensure a good Green for the C&D Presidents Day.

Although we did not cut the grass a good grooming always helps to keep the Green in shape.

Summers here and the hedges are growing at a rapid rate so need a good prune.

More hedge pruning...

Hazel has nearly finished giving our fencing a protective coating but first she needs to clear some unwanted plants.

With the Green groomed it was time to put down some feed.

I am afraid in my rush to get to the Green on Wednesday I forgot my camera and phone so could not take any pictures but I can assure you we went over the Green with the spiking machine followed by a cut. Also the spare parts arrived for the main lawn mower so Graham and Malcolm started to put the machine back together again.

Friday morning and it's Star Slitting time.

Followed by a cut.

The brothers, Pinch and Pinch are still trying to put back together our main lawn mower....rather them than me!
